Tago Pet is a feature plush originally developed for Giochi Preziosi's Emotion Pets line. The plush contains no electronics — instead, seven NFC tags are embedded across its body zones, allowing a companion electronic accessory to detect exactly where it is being held. The accessory reads each tag and responds accordingly, transforming into a spoon, sponge, or thermometer depending on what the pet needs.

Each care type unlocks new tools and interactions as the relationship between child and pet grows.
Feeding
Select food and hold the accessory up to the pet's mouth to feed it.
User holds the accessory up to the mouth zone, activating the mouth NFC tag for a set duration to confirm the pet has been fed.
Nurse to Health
Diagnose and treat your pet's illness or injury with medicine, an ice pack, or a thermometer.
User holds the accessory against the forehead zone, activating the forehead NFC tag for a set duration to complete the treatment.
Loving
Comfort a sad pet with hugs, belly rubs, or a gentle cradle.
When the accessory is clipped to the collar and the pig is hugged, a light sensor detects the absence of light — registering the embrace as complete.
Exercise & Play
Clip the accessory on and run around together, or shake it for a dance party.
The onboard accelerometer detects motion and movement patterns while the accessory is clipped to the collar, registering physical activity.
Cleaning
Wash and dry a messy pet using the accessory as a sponge or blow dryer.User scrubs the accessory across the pig's body, successfully scanning each body zone tag to confirm a full wash.
Sleep
Help your pet wind down with a quiet room and a gentle bedtime routine.The accelerometer detects gentle rocking or cradling motion while the microphone monitors ambient sound, confirming a quiet and calm environment.
